Lungzo Mofunk established mofunk Records back in 2000, together with DJ Funky Lemon. After he completed the record label, he started to participate more in a lot of marketing activities in the North West Province.

He also managed to grab himself some slots as a guest dj on YFM, Metro, Motsweding and a few other radio stations. Furthermore, in 2002 Lungzo Mofunk began to launch a clothing shop, CDs along with DVDs for the Mofunk Records. Later in 2005, he decided to commence the record with Glenn Fiasco.

Ever since then, the record label has grown and has featured many talented soulful house producers.
