Kgaogelo Moagi also known as Master kg was born and raised in Tzaneen back in 1996. The famous musician started to expertise more on beats when he was 13, after his late uncle purchased him a computer. Master kg’s career began back in 2016 after he had an encounter with DJ Maebela. The two started examining FL Studio, also known as a music software. Finally, after some time he managed to release his first ever single called “Situation”.
In 2018, Master Kg got signed to Open Mic Production and also released the single called “Skeleton Move”. At the end of that year his single (Skeleton Move) was chosen song of the year at Thobela FM. However,in 2019 he decided to produce a song with the well-known Nomcebo Zikode. The song was titled ‘Jerusalem’ and later received international attention.
Master Kg continues to reach millions of listeners on Spotify, YouTube and also Deezer. The self-taught musician recently performed at the #Betway SA20 on the 10th of January 2023.
