Vincent Motshegoa also known as DJ Vinny da Vinci was born in 1974. He grew up in Pretoria and started mastering music at 16 years old. The famous DJ After matric started working at a clothing store and later, Vinny started to develop some love for music as he became one of the popular resident DJ’s at the Mabopane Club. Moreover, in 1998 DJ Vinny da Vinci created House Afrika two other partners namely: Tim White & Glenn Van Loggerenburg.

The record label focuses on both local content, upcoming artists and also A&R of music
releases. However, after some time the record started to do well and he began to collaborate
with DJ Christos in which they released many albums together.
Besides, the record label DJ Vinny kickstarted his radio career at YFM which gained him more recognition in the entertainment industry. Vinny Da Vinci later joined Metro FM Urban Beat Show alongside DJ Christos which was the hub of Deep House music lovers. .
