Multi-Platinum Selling, Multi Award Winning South African Artist, Holly Rey is set to release a second EP in 2021. Although the date for the EP Release has not yet been announced, she has confirmed that she has completed a five track EP. The first single titled “Spend My Time” ft Mr Luu and MSK dropped on the 26th of March alongside the video which went live on Youtube and is already playlisted on SA’s Top Music Channels. The EP features production by Murphy Cubic (Zimbabwe), Mr Luu and MSK and a track with DJ Mshega.

Known for her songwriting ability, Holly Rey does not disappoint in an EP that is intended to connect on multiple levels. In these confusing time’s when people feel disconnected and unsure, Holly Rey releases a soothing EP that intends to connect across all divides and tells the story of a girl who found love, lost love and learnt to love herself again.

The music video was self directed and self produced by multitalented Holly Rey, who designed and produced all of the looks for herself and the dancers. The music video was styled by Leigh Vermaak and filmed by Jimmy Reynolds. Shot on the iconic rooftop of the Durban Musgrave Centre, Jimmy and his crew lit up the glass dome on the sixth floor which created an amazing backdrop for the set of the “Spend My Time” Music Video.
