The long wait for the GongBox App is soon to come to an end. In 2014 the media was hit with amazing by South Africa’s Legend DJ Black Coffee, he had announced that he has been working with his team on an App which will create a platform for artists to find released music as well as a platform where anyone and everyone could find the amazing works of art by our fellow South African artists.

It is said that the App will carry a big shift to the music industry. DJ Black Coffee says that he was inspired to create a platform where artists could take hold and be in control of a platform where they can now have the rights to their Masters. He described it by saying that “For the longest time we as South Africans have always needed to Plugin and the time has come whereby we take control and ownership of our work”. The App gives power to the artist whereby they can interact and tell their own stories, not just in music but also outside of music with loading in documentaries and movies.
