The Johannesburg storytelling legend “Sio” is going to be bringing us an amazing live-stream concert on the 27th of May 2020 at 20h00 CAT. For people that do not know Sio. Siobhan, Sio Known as The Twilight child, is one of South Africa’s most talented Poet and Singer/Writer out there. Her songs consist of angelic words and moving melodies.

Sio considers herself to be a “lyrical snob” she says that “she makes pains to write songs which look at things from different angles” she taps into her dark imagery, weaving love, thoughtfulness, and a dash of rebellion in her music. Her collaboration list is out of this world, she has worked with artists like Luka, Cuebur, Dwson, Kid Fonque, and many more. Recently there has been a remix release of her song titled “Invite me in” from the Afro-house king Enoo Napa.

The very first verse of the song remains to sit in your heart and keeps you thinking, it states “See this whole world is full of hardship and this whole world is full of crazy, You’re asking where it is your friends be, Why has my love all gone and left me, See there is magic in the moment, But you keep looking where your loves went, The gift of life is in the present, Live it now before your times spent’.
