Many may know him by the crazy tunes and compilations from “ Get Physical Music” or the amazing electronic duo “Crazy White Boys”. Working his way into the international scene Ryan Murgatroyd is one of the greatest DJ/Producers in South Africa and Globally in the Electronic house scene. He is also known to be the one who started the “Soul Candi” Program which is now offered at Boston Media House. One of his best projects to hit the dance floors is a song titled “Wicked Eyes” which is released under his very own independent record label called “ Swoon Records”. Ryan has graced many stages across the world from Fusion Fest to festivals at Amsterdam’s ADE week which is “Amsterdam’s music event” that takes place every year around October. ADE brings together the likes of all the greats from all parts of the world for a week full of events, parties, music expos and masterclasses where knowledge is shared.

Ryan Describes the electronic music and techno scene as a “safe space” where people are free to be themselves. A place where the misfits and misunderstood’s can come together which he believes is also the founding principles of the scene. He says that “Electronic music is team sport” and advises the up & coming artist who would like to play at these huge events and pursue their international careers should work on developing a team and collaborate with agencies in these continents that they would love to play in as well as work on their catalogs as it plays a huge role when wanting to work abroad.
