“VINYL IS NOT DEAD” said Vinny Da Vinci. (Legends Live, 19.04.2020)

During the lockdown and self-isolation period in South Africa, DJ’s took to their social media platforms posting live sessions of themselves playing VINYL sets.

The Legendary Oskido hosted the Legends Live Sessions which featured incredible OGs such as DJ Fresh and Vinny Da Vinci who showed the new school where they started back in the days prior to the digital times.

“Vinny Da Vinci used to sell us these records back in the days. We used to get them from him, at house afrikan records” said Oskido as he was showing us his music collection which he had on his shelves.

We also had the likes of Shimza, Problem Child Ten83, DJ Vumar, Kid Fonque and Kabza De Small joining in the vinyl sets, as they say a true DJ has to know how to spin a vinyl, do you agree or not?
