On 22 November, Henrik Schwarz will perform live in Umlazi township. Hailing from Germany, Schwarz is a true legend of the international electronic music community. A live performer who maintains a balance between electronic, classical, jazz and dance music.  

Performing in South African townships has long been a desire of Schwarz, having done so in both Joburg and Cape Town. Hotbeds of culture and talent, townships have developed into powerhouses of musical innovation, spawning new genres and fresh sounds that have caused waves around the world.  

Schwarz will be performing a 2-hour live set at the intimate Kyalami Lounge to a crowd of 250. This new venue features an open-air rooftop with well-priced drinks and food, ensuring attendees can enjoy themselves and focus on the moment.

The supporting line-up includes Dj’s from Umlazi and KwaMashu, including local duo Kususa, showcasing Durban based talent alongside the international superstar. Expect cutting edge grooves mixed with crowd favourites and an unbeatable vibe in the heart of Umlazi.
