The Mpumalanga born, Bob Ezy, is no stranger to the elite world of Dance Music, in fact he is a highly skilled and well recognized music composer, producer, music director and DJ. His musical talents have already seen him to working with legends Euphonik & Mpumi on the smash hit Busa a couple of years ago, and have also been the reason he has been nominated for numerous awards like the Metro FM Awards, The SAMA’s, as well as the MTV Base Awards for song of the year.

Bob Ezy’s Let You Go has already been playlisted by key radio stations across the country such as 5FM, Ligwalagwala FM, Lesedi FM, Umhlobo Wenene,  FM, Munghana Lonene FM and Phalaphala FM just to name a few.

With the song doing so well it was only fitting Bob Ezy shot a video for it, and without saying too much this video is refreshing and beautifully executed. The bright feel of the video is not what you would expect from a song titled Let You Go but they made it work perfectly.

Described by his manager as a hit upon hearing the instrumental alone, he ended up suggesting that Bob Ezy reach out to the Paris based songstress Jany to round up the perfect collaboration for a universal sound with an African feel.

“The song to me is a taste of the sounds that one can expect to hear on my project Love Ain’t Easy. And as the title says the song itself talks about seeing someone you love, including yourself, having to let the love of their life go. So the video had to translate all of this into visuals and I feel we did a great job at that” shares Bob Ezy.
